Chicago has two airports: O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). From either one, the CTA "L" train will get you to the Loop in about 35 to 40 minutes. An Uber is usually easy to grab but will take closer to an hour with traffic.
Hotel blocks
Both hotels are literally across the street from our venue, so you won't need any transportation to get to the ceremony.
The river boat tour is genuinely the best thing in Chicago. I (Jack) have been on it 5+ times and would happily go again.
Lincoln Park Zoo
It's free. We used to live a block away and spent Sunday mornings here. Follow it up with brunch at RJ Grunts across the park.
Skydeck at the Sears Tower
Step out on the glass boxes for the view. Yes, technically it's the Willis Tower now. Real Chicagoans still call it the Sears Tower.
Shopping on Michigan Avenue
The Magnificent Mile runs from the river up to the Drake. Easy walk from either hotel.
Restaurants near the hotels
You honestly can't go wrong in Chicago, but a few of our go-to spots: Pizzeria Portofino, Sushi-San, and (obviously) Portillo's.

FAQ
Parking?
If you're driving in, we recommend the valet at the JW Marriott across the street. There are plenty of nearby garages on SpotHero too. Or, if you plan to party, take an Uber.
Dress code?
Black tie optional. The bride kindly requests that all guests wear black to fit our black-and-white theme.
Are children invited?
We've decided to keep the wedding and reception adults-only aside from immediate family. We hope you enjoy a relaxing evening celebrating with us.
